How It Started

This actually started back in 2023, but if I’m honest it didn’t really turn into anything until 2024.

It all came from just loving the hobby, especially painting.

The problem was the hobby isn’t cheap. And when you’re staring at a brand new miniature, it’s hard not to think… what if I mess this up?

That was me.

I didn’t want to ruin expensive models just trying to learn, so I got my first 3D printer purely so I could print as many as I wanted and just practice without worrying.

Mess one up? Print another.

Try something new? No pressure.

That freedom completely changed how I approached the hobby.

But then reality hit a bit, 3D printing isn’t exactly cheap either.

So I started putting a few models up for sale just to cover some of the costs. Nothing serious at the time.

But people started buying, and more importantly they were in the exact same position.

That’s really where everything shifted.

What started as just trying to fund a hobby turned into something bigger.

Now it’s not just me anymore.

At Knights of Lunar, we focus on helping people build their armies, enjoy the hobby, and actually feel comfortable picking up a brush.

Not just by selling miniatures, but by making the whole experience easier, from getting the models, to building, painting, and actually getting them onto the table.

Because at the end of the day, you shouldn’t be scared to enjoy it.

From Hobby to Helping Others

As more people started buying, things naturally grew from there.

What started as just covering the cost of printing turned into something we actually wanted to build properly.

We started focusing more on quality, making sure every model was cleaned up properly, checked over, and something we’d be happy to use ourselves.

It wasn’t about just selling miniatures anymore.

It became about helping other people get into the hobby, build their armies, and enjoy it without the same hesitation we had at the start.

That’s when Knights of Lunar really started to become what it is now.

Our Mission

At Knights of Lunar, the goal is simple.

Make the hobby easier to get into, and more enjoyable to stick with.

Too often, tabletop gaming feels expensive, complicated, or like you need to get everything perfect straight away.

That’s not how it should be.

We believe people should be able to build their armies, try new things, and enjoy the process without worrying about getting it wrong.

That’s why we focus on more than just the miniatures.

From how the models are prepared, to how they arrive, to how easily they can be built, painted, and used on the tabletop, everything is done with the full experience in mind.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about what you buy.

It’s about what you do with it.
